In Southern Indian state of Karnataka, you'll find a unique blend of history, culture, nature, and yoga.
During 9 days, we will immerse ourselves in all these elements, and explore two distinct regions that together will provide a comprehensive and unique experience.
November 4-8: Mysore - the Yoga Capital of India and the "City of Kings"
Mysore is renowned for its magnificent Maharaja's Palace, temples, bustling markets brimming with colors and scents, wide streets, and the Ashtanga Yoga Center founded by Pattabhi Jois.
In Mysore, we will stay at the Royal Orchid Hotel, which offers spacious rooms, a pool, a spa, and a relaxing atmosphere.
During our time in Mysore:
- We will practice yoga twice a day
-Participate in 2 in-depth workshops
- Visit the Mysore Palace
- Practice yoga with a local teacher
- Visit vibrant markets
November 8-12: Coorg - the "Scotland of India"
After five days in the city of Mysore, we will travel to the hilly region of Coorg. Here, coffee and spice plantations and villages nestled in wild nature will set the scene for the next part of our journey.
In Coorg, we will stay at the Old Kent Estate & Spa.
During our time in Coorg:
- We will practice yoga twice a day.
-Participate in 2 in-depth workshops
- Visit a coffee plantation.
- Meet Buddhist monks.
- Hike in nature and enjoy the tranquility.
